Shenzhen Healthcare Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (Healthcare Technology or HC) was established in 2002 in Shenzhen China and has been heavily involved in product design, manufacturing and marketing for all kinds of home use electronic weighing scales.  

Healthcare Technology is a wholly owned subsidiary of TH-Leaguer Sensory Technology (Shenzhen) Co Ltd. (TH-Leaguer). TH-Leaguer was formed in 1995 which was specialized in load cell and all kinds of sensors development for different product applications.   TH-Leaguer developed her first load cell for electronic body fat scales in October 1995. Healthcare Technology was acquired and belongs to the TH-Leaguer group since 2008.

Since the merger of the two companies, Healthcare Technology has become one of the leading consumer scale manufacturers in the world.

TH-Leaguer is the holding company for a group of subsidiaries, of which Healthcare Technology is the only company inside the Group focusing on electronic weighing scales and weight management devices.   Other subsidiaries under TH-Leaguer Group offers other different product applications such as the LCD touch panels for mobile phones and computers, audio/visual equipments, telecommunications products and TV games etc.   TH-Leaguer is a venture capital found by the well-known Tsing Hua University in Beijing China.   The head office of TH-Leaguer is located in the Tsing Hua Information Terminal near Shenzhen Bay port.   In 2006, a joint research laboratory between TH-Leaguer and Tsing Hua University was set up in the Tsing Hua Information Terminal to pursue and develop innovative product concepts.

The whole manufacturing operations of Healthcare Technology was located in Gong Ming Town, Shenzhen China, which is around 50km away from the Hong Kong border.  The total office and factory areas are around 50,000 sq. m. or 500,000 sq. ft.  The current work force including staff and workers for final assembly are over 1,000.  All sub-assembly processes such as plastic injection, SMT PCB, metal stamping, load cells,  glass ITO are being run as profit centers and all sit  in walking distance away from the HC office and main factory building.

There are about 40 professional engineers and technicians in the company who are responsible for software, electronic, mechanical, packaging, quality and production matters.  In addition, we have our in house industrial designers to provide prompt and confidential product designs for our strategic partners.
